Can I join?
Why do I like soccer
Soccer is the sport that I love. My first encounter with soccer was on the first day of 7th grade. During recess, I was walking alone in the grasslands, not knowing what to do. I was too afraid to find a friend to play with; the empty walls around my mind were overwhelming! Then, something tapped my leg. I turned my head and saw two kids in my grade watching me. Obviously, they wanted the ball back! It was kind of scary, and out of nowhere I asked, “Can I join?”
I remember the first time I stepped on that grassy court. There were about twenty kids there. I mumbled to the “captain,” stating, “Sorry I’m a newbie, I don’t know the rules.” The captain responded, “I’m Roman. It’s fine. It’s day one of school. Which side do you want to be on: Shingo or Roman?”
Shingo vs Roman
Shingo and Roman are two different types of leaders with dramatic differences in play style. My captain, Roman, is a skillful dribbler and passer. He is a steady contributor.
